How are C&I solar installations distributed in the USA?

Commercial and Industrial solar installations vary significantly and can usually be described as having 50 kwh to 5 MWh. This segment is highly diverse and usually includes large rooftop installations, small ground mount installations and floating installations. The large rooftop solar panel installation segment is extremely complex due to its high diversity levels.

According to the SEIA 2018 report, most commercial and industrial solar installations are rooftop, but most panels to be cleaned are found on the ground floor. Floating installations are a very small minority at the moment. Floating installations grow in countries where land is scarce and expensive such as Holland and Japan.
