Chapter #2 – The Opportunity

We base our solar panel cleaning projections based on new solar installation projections. The assumption is that current installations already have their solar panel cleaning needs fulfilled. These estimates were created prior to the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA) and California’s 2035 EV Mandate. The IRA will raise $737 billion and authorize $369 billion in spending on energy and climate change.

  • Commercial & Industrial Solar Installations are projected to grow by 195,000,000 panels from 2021 – 2030.
  • Utility-scale solar installations are projected to grow by 765,000,000 panels from 2021 – 2030.

An estimated 1.1 billion solar panels to be installed in the USA in the next 8 years for just the C&I and utility-scale segments.
